World Mission
From Altrincham to Trafford to Greater Manchester to the U.K. and then to Overseas.
ABC support many projects and organisations through the World Mission Team.
World Mission is defined by its biblical basis taking seriously the command of the Lord Jesus Christ found in the Great Commandment [Matthew 22:36-40] and the Great Commission [Matthew 28: 16-20].
The emphasis of the World Mission Team is to enable evangelism and discipleship and to alleviate suffering and injustice in the United Kingdom and overseas. The aim is to place mission at the heart of the church and the church at the heart of mission, through promotion of world mission awareness and opportunities.
The Harvest and Christmas offertories are also planned by the World Mission Team, including organisations not regularly supported by ABC.
The World Mission Team pray and financially support individuals, projects and organisations. Every month we provide a prayer and news bulletin focusing on one of these projects.
