We want young people to know how precious they are to God and live in the freedom of that knowledge
We believe that all young people are loved by and precious to Jesus. We believe that they can know this love for themselves, and we are passionate about showing them how they can know this for themselves
Current situation (Covid 19)
During the current time we are working to try to and adapt to the restrictions of meeting together which are necessary due to the current pandemic. Things will look a little different from September, meaning a lot of our work will be online (via zoom), or in public outside spaces. Please see below for our normal range of activities, which we are in the process of adapting.

We have previously (and intend to again!), run Weekends Away in Wales where we engage in a range of activities, including rock climbing, kayaking and archery. During these weekends the young people have a special opportunity to grow together as a community and grow closer to Jesus in faith.
We have also run trips to Soul Survivor (a national Christian youth camp), and had days away, and social nights, including bowling and mini golf. When it is appropriate to do so we will return to running these activities for young people, as we know the significance and importance these play in the lives of the young people from a faith point of view and as a community building activity.
Meet the team
Rob Peirson has been youth pastor at Altrincham Baptist Church since 2016. He is a proud Yorkshireman, loves anything with an engine attached to it and is passionate about young people's lives being transformed through having a personal relationship with Jesus, because he has seen the difference it has made in his own life.
Beth Cooper has been our student youth pastor at Altrincham Baptist Church since 2019. She has been involved in youth work since she was junior leader at the age of 16, is a published poet and is an absolute class trombone player! Beth is passionate about young people coming to know that they are loved by God, and are known personally by him.
Volunteers at ABC
Of course Rob and Beth couldn't do their job of supporting the young people as they walk with Jesus without an awesome team of volunteers from ABC. We have an incredible team of people who are passionate about young people, and about supporting the youth ministry. They give up their time, exert their energy, communicate and demonstrate their faith to help make sure that the young people have the best opportunity to explore life and a relationship with Jesus. Pictures to follow...
