Rob started at ABC in November 2016, having finished his degree in Youth, Communities and Schools work in July 2016. Rob’s passion is to see young people become disciples of Jesus, with their own independent faith, which transforms them and the world around them.
Rob was born and raised in East Yorkshire (arguably the centre of the universe). Living with his parents and siblings in Cherry Burton (tiny village in the fields). He was a mechanic for 4 years, until doing a gap year working for Beverley minster, helping run the youth provision there.
He then worked for Hunsley Christian Youth Trust, working within an academy running the CU, lunchtime clubs and delivering assemblies, as well as in a local Anglican church running their youth provision, as a placement for his degree in youth ministry.
Rob is musical, having been in several bands, and loves leading worship. He’s also a massive petrol head, so don’t get him talking about cars, or motorbikes, or anything with an engine unless you’re really interested. Rob is motivated by seeing young people’s lives changed through a relationship with Jesus.
