Child Protection

Altrincham Baptist Church is called to be a place of safety in which all people and in particular, young people and children, can experience peace. The Child Protection Policy and Good Practice Guide available below have been developed in accordance with the Home Office guidelines Safe From Harm, and advice contained in the Baptist Union of Great Britain's Safe To Grow and the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service's Facing the Unthinkable.

These documents have been produced to provide a reference point for those involved in Youth & Children's Ministry as as to the practices and behaviours that contribute to generating a safe environment for young people and children

This web page makes available a number of representations of the new Altrincham Baptist Church Logo. These are for the use of Church Members and they remain copyright of the Church. If you are not a member of Altrincham Baptist Church please contact the Church Office to gain permission for use.

Please follow the logo design guidance (see guidance paper for details) when you use these images as we want to keep a consistent look and feel and also not undo the hard work of the graphic designers in keeping them crisp, tidy and in proportion.

The images with background are in Jpeg format at either 300 dpi or 72 dpi resolution and those with no background (transparent) are GIFs. To download these click on the image with the right mouse button and select 'Save Target As'.
