Prayer

Prayer is key to our relationship with God, it is the most important thing we do. We believe in the power of prayer.

The apostle Paul said to the Christians in Philipi, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ Philippians 4: 6.

There are lots of opportunities for prayer, whether within a missional community/ small group context, daily prayers in The Hub, at our Sunday services or individually.

Daily Prayers

Staff and volunteers gather for prayers on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings in The Hub at 9.15am. Our Still Space in The Hub is also open during the day for prayer.

Prayer Team

Opportunity is provided at the end of each church service to receive prayer. You will find someone from the prayer team at the front of church available to pray with you and for you.

Pastoral Prayer

If you would like to receive individual prayer over a number of sessions about a particular matter, you can receive pastoral prayer.

Contact Andrew Hawksworth (07771 798 533), andrewhawksworth@altrinchambaptist.org) to discuss.
