Giving

Following Jesus involves giving our whole life to Him including our abilities, our time, and our money. As we do this we discover that God gives so much more to us. Giving enables us to increase God’s work in the local area and across the world.

How can you give?

So how do you give to the work of Altrincham Baptist Church? Well, there are a number of ways to do so:

Regular standing order– you can send the completed form, ABC Standing Order Mandate – general fund 2016, to your bank or set up online. Details of your standing order can be provided to Fiona Norton, Assistant Treasurer by email assisttreasurer@altrinchambaptist.org

Service offerings- our Sunday services take up an offering as part of our worship to God. If you give by cheque via these offerings please make cheques payable to Altrincham Baptist Church. Weekly giving envelopes are available if you would like to use these.

Lump sum gifts– you can make one off donations by cheque or bank transfer.

Charity schemes- Regular or one-off payments through charity giving schemes such as Stewardship or CAF.

Tax efficient giving

If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) we are able to claim back on your behalf the basic rate tax paid. So as an example, for every £100 given we can increase this to £125. If you would like us to be able to do this you will need to fill in, sign and return to us an ongoing Gift Aid Declaration, ABC general GA declaration 2016, if you have not done so already. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.)

Please either include the form in the Sunday offering or return to Fiona.
